For our first Digital Photography project, we were given the freedom to create a campaign around any subject that we wanted, as long as there was an underlying theme or idea. My project was based around the idea of teenagers being socially isolated by an over-abundance of technology. While creating photos, I thought this project might be a great opportunity to sharpen my After Effects / Premiere skills. I got permission from my professor to experiment with some subtle movement within the photos, and ended up with this.
Our assignment for Graphic Design III was to choose a local business and re-design their identity from the ground up. I ended up choosing the Lost Dog Café; a local restaurant in Binghamton. The restaurant has sort of a youthful, bohemian feel to it- and so I've tried to carry that through the designs. The project is still a work-in-progress, but posted below is the project as it appears for the moment.
I'm an enormous fan of animation. During the latter half of 2011, I discovered a ton of independent animators on YouTube and was inspired to create an animation alter-ego of my own. Thus, my animation pseudonym, "kidmanikin" was born.
Somewhere along the lines I decided that I was going to develop this project in to sort of an entrepreneurial effort. YouTube Parters can make a pretty penny if their work garners enough attention, so I decided to create a slick logo / identity for my channel.

I haven't been able to focus too much of my energy in to this project just yet, since I'm still really busy with completing my senior year at college.
But I have received a surprising amount of positive feedback from the few silly projects that I've completed thus far.
Dennis: The Boy who can talk to Food! (won daily 3rd place on Newgrounds.com)
Honk Grumps Beepinated!
Pikachu drinks a Harlem shake. (made front page on Newgrounds.com, received over 50,000 views)
SNOOKI HAS A BABBY
All of my animations have been fairly ridiculous / silly thus far. But I plan on making some pretty inspired stuff once I get my hands on a tablet / half decent computer.
During the summer of 2012, I received an awesome internship opportunity with CBS-NY creative services. A large portion of my duties included editing promotional material using Final Cut Pro. Listed below are a few of the pieces which I edited.

For this project, I created 3 separate 8x8in posters designed around an ancient letterform. The letterform which I chose was "Phi". Each of the posters had to accentuate a different element; one for the letterform, one for the copy, and one for the name of the letter.
The goal of this project was to create a poster designed around a 20th century art movement. The art movement which I received was "Dada", and so I used aspects of Dadaism in the final design.
Bee Fit is a recently opened wellness center located in Upstate New York. During Summer 2012 I created a logo for their business which they ended up using on their awning as well.
The last 2 years have marked my glorious reign as the Fun Page editor in Binghamton University's award-winning 100% student run newspaper; The Pipe Dream.
The Fun Page is the section which includes crosswords, sudoku, and student submitted comics. As the editor, I have creative control over the pages content, and how the content is presented. I'm also the main contributor of the page's comics.
Presented below are a few of my personal favorite themes, issues, and comics.
